Turkey's holiday paradise: Fethiye
Turkey's holiday paradise: Fethiye
In Antiquity the name is called Telmessos. Muğla province of Turkey remains inside. The world famous lycian way passes through here. You will find yourself in a unique blue and green meeting. Fethiye district is approximately 720 km to Istanbul and 650 km to Ankara. But, among other things, it is the easiest way to get around the Dalaman airport. This is the most commonly used form of transportation. It is approximately 40 km to the town of Fethiye.
Accommodation
Lykia World Hotel |
Fethiye, Oludeniz, Karagözler, Hisaronu, Ovacik, Belcekiz, Faralya, Göcek, Calis, Üzümlü and many other centers, holiday villages, pensions, apart hotels and luxury hotels can be found. The list is so crowded that if we write here, the page is not enough. The best way to do this is through the internet. It is also possible for you to find the hotels yourself and reach your phones. This is an incredibly touristy place because everyone in the area generally speaks English. Only in 2016 3 million Tourists were welcomed. In short, if you want a vacation here, make sure to book in advance.
Places to visit
The Old Mosque and Fethiye Bath which was built in 1791 belonging to the Ottoman period are located in Fethiye. There are many royal tombs and sarcophagi belonging to ancient times in the district. It is possible to see a lot of historical artifacts belonging to the Lycian period in the city.
1. Fethiye Castle
It is said that the castle rising in the South of the city belongs to the knights of St. John. There are writings engraved on the wall, a cistern with no history, and two small and simple tombs.
2 Oludeniz
Right side is Belcekiz, Left Side called Lagoon |
Ölüdeniz's reputation is known worldwide. His name is also the calmness and the most stormy day, even without the wave. Oludeniz actually consists of 2 separate sections. One of these is the Belcekiz region and the other is where the lagoon is located. I will not add this: It has been polluted extensively by human hand recently. Nature is still resisting and cleaning itself. I think that we all need to have these beautiful things. I have added this photo to anyone who is interested in holiday or researching Turkey. Ölüdeniz is approximately 14km from Fethiye. You can also take a boat trip from Fethiye or a minibus from the center
3. Babadag
parachuting from Babadag |
Immediately after Ölüdeniz I wanted to write here. Because you can see people parachuting on your head while sunbathing in Oludeniz or at sea. Do not be surprised to say immediately: Babadağ rising from the coast of Oludeniz and the summit is about 2000 meters. The mountain has a very rich flora. I think that it would not be a bad idea to have a different landscape on each mountain of the mountain. If you are a good mountain climber who is available on a daily tourist tour, you will have to climb a 13 kilometer trail.
4. Butterfly Valley.
It is possible to reach the valley in the foothills of the mountain with the boat that leaves from Oludeniz. It is useful to remind you again. If you like hiking and nature sports. If you are feeling a bit excited, of course it is possible to reach here on foot. This is a wonderful place in nature, in this incredible vadage you are not endowed with a hotel stay. It's not so good anyway, it's a little more natural. Eat your tent or stay in the bungalow houses offered there. There are two roads running into the valley. Some of them take you to a famous waterfall. The other is a little more extreme. You may have to do some landing.5. Kabak Bay
Kabak is an amazing place with dark pine trees and unique nature. There is no one here except for a few campsites and a few nature-friendly houses. In short a quiet place. The minibuses depart from Fethiye. You leave it on the side of the road, you can reach this koya by walking for about 20 minutes. We chose Sultan Camping during our stay here. Pleased to meet you. It's eating twice a day. Different accommodation options available. There are other camping areas in the area.
6.Calis beach
It's 5 kilometers from the county. The beach has about 4km sandy beach. The spawning area of the Caretta Caretta is at the same time a place with water sports activities. There are restorant bars and cafés along the beach
7. Kayaköy
The history of Kayaköy goes up to 3000 BC. From the antique period remains in the city, sarcophagi and rock tombs dated to centuries have reached the present day.
Kayaköy also has 350-400 dwelling units each of which is 50 m² in size, with two floors of underground cisterns on the roof, which are generally used as basement floors, which do not cover each other in terms of scenery and light. Many chapels, two large churches, a school building and a customs building scattered among these houses can also be visited.
8. Saklikent
Saklikent is a gigantic valley and cove that goes 14 kilometers inland. Between the two mountains is incredibly narrow and high. If you want to see the beauties in the canyon, you must walk through the cold waters to the other side of the river.
